The three entries you cannot quietly change later

The mobile number. It becomes the account identity, the login, the password-reset route and the channel every verification code arrives on. The name behind the account. You may not be asked for it on the sign-up form, but the payment details you attach later must match the person who owns them. The form, field by field

• Country code. Confirm it reads +91. Some builds reset this when the keyboard opens.
• Mobile number. Ten digits, no spaces, no leading zero.
• Verification code. Tap Send, then wait for the SMS. The timer is usually sixty seconds or so.
• Password. Most builds want a mix of letters and numbers within a length range shown under the field. Case matters.
• Confirm password. Type it, do not paste, so a trailing space cannot slip in.
• Invite code. Optional, as above.
• Age and terms checkbox. You are confirming you are 18 or older. That is a real declaration, not a formality; accounts have been closed over it.

Nothing here asks for a PAN, an Aadhaar number, a bank account or a card. If a page claiming to be sign-up asks for any of those, you are not on a sign-up page.

When the code does not arrive

This is the only step that fails often, and the fix is almost never in the app.

2. Set the password properly if the form generated one, and store it somewhere that is not the browser on a shared phone.

3. Turn on any second factor the security screen offers.

4. Start identity verification now, not on the day you want to cash out. Doing it on a quiet afternoon takes minutes; doing it while waiting on a withdrawal is how a two-hour delay becomes a two-day one.

5. Write down your budget. A fixed rupee figure for the month, decided cold.

One account only

Every platform in this category treats multiple accounts on one number, one device or one payment instrument as grounds to void balances, and they enforce it at withdrawal rather than at sign-up.
